The Wehl family were the first to plant a vineyard in the Mount Benson Wine region during 1989.

Being a fishing family for several generations, the experience has been a real “fins to feet” transformation, with the love of fine food harvested from the ocean, now becoming a love of fine wine harvested from the land.

Expansive lawns and gardens surround their home and cellar door which is nestled amongst the vines. A warm welcome from the famous Rusty and Roxy (their pet kelpies) as visitors arrive is all in line with their warm and friendly atmosphere.
