The cool climate, high altitude wine region of Orange, certainly provides four seasons in one day.
Will Hattersley, manager of Belgravia Wines says that being able to live and work in Orange, NSW is a pure delight. He says the region experiences all the major changes of season meaning they can enjoy a savoury red wine in front of the log fire in winter and clear blue skies and sunny days during summer – ideal with a cool climate Riesling.
Will also jokes that they get every other weather condition in between & often all on the same day! This keeps their vineyard team constantly busy & there is a new challenge daily.
The eldest of four boys, Will loves managing Belgravia Wines and their cellar door home of the Union Bank Wine Bar in Orange.
