Moorebank Vineyard Estate was created in 1986 by Debra Moore & Ian Burgess after being part of the industry for 15 years. Today they’re still fulfilled by what attracted them to the region in the first place. Their personal values of environmental sustainability have impacted the winemaking methods used in the business and their innovative usage of grapes has lead to a string of awards, not only for wine but for the famous condiments, Spicy Grape Sauce & Spice Pickled Grapes.

Debra’s family wine history in the Hunter goes back to the 1860s with the family’s original grape press still kept on the property, similarly the famous condiments recipes have been handed down through the generations from Debra’s 102-year-old grandmother.

The proud family history continues, with the wines named after their five children including the latest release, a range of Ginseng infused wines, inspired & produced by the eldest son.
