Mac Forbes has almost come full circle in the wine community! He first donned overalls in France aged 19 where he worked vintage, then he did the Roseworthy winemaking thing, spent some time at iconic Yarra Valley winery Mount Mary and now he's making his own wine in the Yarra.

Six years in and his journey has become a lot more interesting and rewarding. Now he has a team of four (plus supporting family and friends) working with a complete commitment to vine health and fruit quality and the resultant wines.

Mac and his team manage eight vineyards across the Yarra Valley and two in Strathbogie Ranges. They make a number of small single vineyard wines pioneering the exploration of sub-regionality in the Yarra Valley.

Mac's wines are refined, elegant and pure. Producing great wine is Mac's ambition and everything else is there to support this goal.
