From garlic bread to grapes… Bill Martin and family own one of Margaret River's pioneering vineyards. Established in 1976 by a geologist, the site was chosen carefully.
Bill began his sales and marketing career with Campbell Soups in America. On arrival in Australia, Bill secured a senior position in the liquor retail trade, before he and Ena started a food processing business. They introduced a new concept in specialty breads, with garlic bread leading the way in this successful venture. Within 18 months their company had become established on a national basis, with distribution through all major supermarkets under a licensing agreement.
So from garlic bread to grapes… Bill's drive and business
acumen have seen remarkable achievements at the Estate while he has been at its helm.
