What’s an Aussie bloke doing making wine in Sicily? Well that’s exactly where Rosabrook’s winemaker Brian Fletcher perfected his craft.
Brian studied oenology at Charles Sturt University and began his career in winemaking in 1978 in Australia. Over the past thirty years, he's held a number of prestigious winemaking positions including Production Director for Casa Vinicola Calatrasi in Sicily and Chief winemaker for Evans & Tate.
Brian is an extremely talented and versatile winemaker with a multitude of awards to his name. Although he is a household name in Margaret River and a veteran winemaker for the region, he is some what a quiet achiever and prefers to stay out of the limelight and in the vineyard with his beloved vines.
