BELLWETHER thinks Tassie is the bees knees of Chardonnay and lives by the CBA theory (Chardonnay is Back Again).
OK so the produce, restaurants, old growth forests, bushwalking, people and Pinot aren't bad either. But Chardonnay is Sue Bell's main excuse to go to Tasmania. The label is painted by Sue and is a "stylised back to front version" of Wine Glass Bay. It is supposed to represent the shape of the wine and the topography of the terroir!
So Sue paints and apparently has a pretty tidy palate, but confessed she is really bad at golf, tennis, accounting and time keeping.
But that's OK - it's all about the wine for Sue.
