It was a chance meeting in California's Santa Barbara County that resulted in the re-invigoration of the small family wine brand from Western Australia, Wovenfield.
While winemaking for the Firestone family's winery in Santa Barbara, California, Rienne met Johan, a passionate South African winemaker with whom the sparks flew.
With big dreams in tow, the young pair settled on the Ferguson Valley farm and set out to transform the little known wine brand - Wovenfield Wines. Rienne and Johan took over all operations of the vineyard and the wine brand and the control over quality has never been better.
The dream is still alive and step by step the brand is growing, shining and succeeding. Goes to show you that a lot of passion and tonnes of hard work really can pay off!
