Paul Nelson Wines is a small family business run by husband and wife team, Paul and Bianca.
Having travelled as a flying winemaker to such diverse cultural landscapes as Germany, America, Cyprus, South Africa, India and Italy, Paul became ever more enthusiastic about the idea of starting his own label.
Driven by a feverish passion for winemaking (and wine drinking!), Paul was inspired to produce fresh, elegant and intriguing wines, paying homage to hundreds of years of winemaking tradition, while looking to the future for exciting and innovative styles.
Vintage 2009 was their first ambitious step towards leaving the "Nelson" touch on the wine lists - and lips - of West Australian wino’s. Inspired and compelled by a desire to make wines that they themselves enjoy drinking, they'll keep making wines as long as people take great delight in drinking them.
