Elise Byrne, from Scotts Creek Wines, is ensuring a healthy future for one of Australia’s largest and most significant wetland environments.

The Brenda Park Scotts Creek Wetlands is located along the River Murray just outside Morgan, South Australia, and is home to Scotts Creek Wines.

Wetlands are a valuable part of the Australian wildlife system providing habitats, breeding sites, and drought refuges for a diverse range of fauna and flora.

Elise believes the work she and her group are doing makes a real difference - and encourages others to take up the cause. She is excited by the thought that their work could contribute to the River, wetlands and floodplains being revitalised and believes the River can come alive again.

In keeping with her passion, Elise and the team at Scotts Creek Wines have also just released the first vintage of their organic Shiraz.
