Kim was born into the wine industry when her parents bought a property in Mount Barker, WA, and began their journey of parenthood and building Galafrey Wines.

Her experience started in the vineyard, then the winery and at 18, Kim was representing Galafrey Wines at tastings and festivals.

Her journey took an unexpected twist when her father, Ian, died of cancer in 2003. Kim's journey truly began here, when she took over the family business and survived this terrible time. Kim had a winery full of wine, a stockroom full of stock and a vineyard about to burst and it was her biggest learning curve yet.

Galafrey is more than a brand - It represents who Kim is and where she's from - a pioneering family who built a winery, raised a family and created Galafrey Wines.

Kim now has her own family and Galafrey is their future.
