Peter’s passion to follow his heart has resulted in a life time search to find his ‘place’. A place not already dominated by the ‘Wine World’, a place where his vines would prosper, where his ideas on taste and structure could become reality.
Today that reality is Domaine A. 11.5 hectares planted strictly to soil analysis to honour each variety. At Domaine A every vine is tendered to by hand and wines are cellared for up to five years before release. It has not been easy to venture into the world with a handful of wines and tell the story of an island in the great southern ocean.
Yes, this was certainly the ‘road less travelled’ and it has made all the difference.
