Graeme Scott, Winemaker, Hunter

Graeme Scott Winemaker Hunter Story by James Estate

"Have you been out the front gate this year?" It was an innocent, albeit slightly strange question that Graeme's wife asked him. It was already the end of January!

Imagine loving what you do so much that you hadn't even noticed that four weeks had passed since you last left the property. This was the case for James Estate's mountain-biking winemaker, Graeme Scott.

Its is all about a balanced life. Nestled into the Wollemi National Park, James Estate is a fantastic place to live, work and play.

Most days after work Graeme can be seen riding off into the bush with his kids and dog, Razz. If he's not out riding, then he is often armed with a shovel and rake building trails.

So if you're calling in, ask him about the time he lost his bike in the bush while wandering off exploring... or the time Razz had to rescue him when he got carried away trail building and couldn't find his way home in the dark! Oh and by the way, ask about our wines.
