Steve Schubert, Vigneron, Barossa Valley

Steve Schubert Vigneron Barossa Valley Story by Schubert Estate

“Good things come in threes” and the vineyards, wines and people are the three best things about the industry according to the Schuberts from the Barossa.

Good wines begin in the vineyard and in 1847, Johann Gramp planted the first commercial vineyard in the Barossa.

At Schubert Estate, their attention to detail in the vineyard produces consistently excellent fruit. In fact, Steve Schubert ensures all his vines are hand-picked and hand-pruned - allowing his vineyards to "do the talking".

Schubert Estate wines are similar to its people - friendly and approachable. “Shiraz, it’s what we grow, make, drink and enjoy!," says Steve.

As the Schuberts say - good things come in threes! Good people, good vineyards and good wine!
